Its been wee hours of the night and I am still here. I woke up so early for an early class and instead of going home to sleep, I chose not to. Not that I am curious as to how, as many people say, the world ends today. Well you can say that. But i’m not that morbid where I scare myself on how the world ends. If so, it would be the outcome of tonight’s endeavor. This will be the first time that I will queue overnight just to purchase an item that is considered as one of the “holy grail” of shoes for sneakerheads. This will be an attempt to bag the shoes. I was so frantic in the office that I couldn’t shake off the feeling that I might not get a pair. Because this would definitely how the world ends to me. Well not really. I am just being overdramatic. As I left the office, I was so anxious of the time. The clock is ticking and I have to be the few people the get them. I arrived at the place without a clue where to go. And then I saw some group where it is expected to have a queue. I went and signed up - I was 64th to reserve 9.5. Good thing there were good people here to help a newbie like me. They were amazed because I am not going to buy a pair for myself but for somebody I love. So to you whom I love, I went through a lot of things for this. Planned out everything, risked everything. You are one damn lucky guy. I think I deserve an Infrared right?
